Legal Terms and Conditions

ELIGIBILITY

The giveaway is open to individual legal residents of Switzerland, and must be above the age of 18. Iris Universe may ask you, at any stage, to provide us with proof of age and/or identity and/or proof of such approval, if relevant. Iris Universe may exclude any participants who are not able to provide with such proof.

DATES OF GIVEAWAYS

The Giveaway will start and close on the date specified on the Iris Universe Instagram and/or Iris Universe Facebook posts. Entries after the closing date will not be allowed.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

The posts on Instagram will explain the entry procedure. Contest will be published on Instagram. However, in order to participate, users will have to do so on the Instagram publication. Only entries on Instagram will be accounted for. No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win. By entering a Giveaway, you will not be eligible to receive any prizes awarded in any other Giveaway unless you enter each Giveaway separately.

THE WINNERS

The winners will be selected at random from among all eligible and correct entries received. We will use an application which will allow us to randomly select a winner.

The winners will be notified on Instagram and/or Facebook and publicly announced on Instagram and/or Facebook via our official Iris Universe account within five business days after the closing date of the Giveaway. If the winners cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 48 hours, Iris Universe reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winners and pick a replacement winners.

The winners are not authorized to transfer, assign or redeem the prize for cash.

PRIZE

There are 10x prizes that includes 10x Iris Photography vouchers of one single eye printed on 20x20 premium paper. Each participant can win one prize only. The prize is stated and no cash or other alternative will be offered. The prize is not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without given notice.

PERSONAL DATA

Each winner agrees that, by participating in a Giveaway, Iris Universe may use the winner’s name in any manner and in any medium for its promotional purposes without additional approval or compensation being required, including posting in a winner’s list, Instagram and/or Facebook post, Instagram and/or Facebook stories.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

By entering the Giveaway each participant agrees to release, discharge and hold harmless Iris Universe, its legal representatives, respective officers, directors, employees and agents from any damages whatsoever suffered or sustained in connection with the Giveaway or the acceptance of the prize.

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

Iris Universe reserves its right to cancel the Giveaways at any times or change the provisions of the General Terms & Conditions at its sole discretion and such change shall have immediately effect upon the publication thereof.

GOVERNING LAW & COMPETENT COURT

The Giveaways are governed by Swiss law. Subject to mandatory legal provisions, the place of jurisdiction is Geneva.
